New NPS management coordinator named Lucia Machado will replace Laurie Fisher as the Colorado NPS management coordinator. Machado will transfer from the Water Quality Control Division’s (WQCD) Monitoring Unit on Feb. 20. She has previous experience with the nonpoint source program in Nevada. Bonie Pate joined the Outreach and Assistance Unit as a project coordinator for the NPS program on Feb. 1. She formerly worked for the WQCD’s Financial Assistance Program. Look for more information about changes to the WQCD’s Watershed Section, in which the Outreach and Assistance Unit is located, in upcoming issues of the Colorado NPS Connection.
